A history of continuous innovation

Jan Andersson and Lars AppelstålSwedish technology company impacts document-handling processes on a global scale

ReadSoft got its start in the late 1980s as a pet project of two Swedish university students, Jan Andersson and Lars Appelstål. Noting how much time people spent manually handling documents, the duo believed that there must be a way to automate these processes. Freeing offices from manual document handling has been ReadSoft's mission ever since. Since its official inception in 1991, ReadSoft has maintained a commitment to constant innovation and continues to take pride in its position as innovator of the document processing automation field.
